New rules for returning defective goods to RVR for REPAIRS

Dear Sirs,RVR Elettronica S.r.l. has issued an RMA procedure for requesting the reparation of products and modules. This procedure will improve in particular the identification of the faults and reduce reparation time.

Please find below the procedure that you are kindly requested to follow FROM TODAY:

  1. Before returning the equipment/modules to RVR for reparation, it is MANDATORY to fill in the RMA Application Form.
  2. The RMA application form can be sent:
    1. ONLINE (advisable) by completing the appropriate form that can be found in this page or by using the PDF-FORMAT and sent it by e-mail to the After Sales Dept.: customerservice@rvr.it
    2. BY FAX to +39 0516011104
  3. Upon receipt of your RMA request, the Aftersales Dept. will check and accept or deny your request. After that, the After Sales Dept. will send an RMA number to the key contact written on your form. This number will be assigned to the product/modules to be repaired during all the process of repairement.
  4. You will be allowed to return the equipment to factory only after receiving the comunication of an RMA number from RVR Elettronica Spa. The given RMA number must be clearly visible on the outside of the package and written on the shipping documents.
  5. IMPORTANT: In case that the repair cost estimate is not accepted by the customer or the equipment is not repairable due to its general conditions, € 60.00 + VAT will be charged for the management, plus the shipping costs of returning the device.

Additional Notes

- For each product or module (electronic boards, power supplies, mechanical parts) to be repaired, it will be issued an RMA number. Therefore, for the repairs of several components it is necessary to request an RMA number for each single component that needs to be repaired (1:1).
- Verbal requests sent to our Aftersales/International Sales Dept. for the issue of an RMA will not be accepted.
- It will not be possible to issue an RMA number in case any of the mandatory data requested in the form result to be missing or uncomplete.
The issue of an RMA number is not binding and therefore the equipment/module could result to be not repairable and/or covered by warranty, as the final tests will be carried out only after arrival of the equipment in the factory and after being checked by our skilled personnel. The above-mentioned procedure is in force from the reception of the present letter.
